Lisa and Jim Tyner are the husband-and-wife team behind the JL Tyner Group, combining their complementary strengths to give clients a seamless, high-touch real estate experience. Together, they bring two different perspectives to every transaction, working toward one shared goal: achieving the best possible outcome for their clients.
Lisa spent 26 years working in education and currently supports adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting. She believes professionalism, preparation and communication are the foundation of a successful transaction, and enjoys researching neighborhoods, evaluating properties and navigating complex situations. She never settles for “good enough” and loves finding the answer everyone else stopped looking for. As she puts it, her idea of a good challenge is “turning over every rock, especially the ones with a great view.”
Jim worked as an electrical contractor before becoming Vice President of Sales for a home building manufacturer. He specializes in helping luxury homebuyers, executive relocations and families looking to put down roots in Middle Tennessee’s premier communities. Jim evaluates properties from the inside out, assessing construction, mechanical systems and structural integrity. This technical insight helps him spot potential red flags before they become costly problems, giving clients a valuable advantage during negotiations and inspections.
Outside of real estate, Lisa and Jim enjoy travelling, trying new restaurants, gardening, cooking, community activities and spending time with family. They are also on a mission to find the best lobster roll along the New England coast and share their home with four much-loved pets.
